Barilla Rebrand Concept

This piece is a rebrand concept in which I took an existing brand that I felt did not accurately show their values. Barilla is a well known pasta company who fills the noodle aisle of most grocery stores. However, their brand doesn’t showcase their heritage and or that they’ve been family owned and operated for over 130 years. The corporate red oval does not suggest the family values of the Barilla brand. A red rose has always been a symbol of devotion and love. I wanted this rebrand to show the devotion the Barilla has had for this brand for many generations and the love that is shared with families at dinnertime. The script typeface suggests the family-owned feel as the new warm earth toned color palette showcases Barilla’s value of being environmentally friendly. The ad campaign was targeted towards the working Mom who makes spaghetti for dinner on those busy nights showing Barilla as an escape during their hectic day.
